AAOSH Hosts 1st Annual Saving Lives Social-Thon

The American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health has announced that it will host its first 12-hour "social-thon" to raise funds on Giving Tuesday. 

Mark your calendar for December 3, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, and be part of a powerful movement to expand oral-systemic education and access.

AAOSH is hosting its first-ever Social Thon to raise funds for scholarships and memberships for multidisciplinary practitioners serving rural and urban low-income areas, from federally Qualified Health Centers to County Health Departments to Accountable Care Organizations and much more.

Your monthly or one-time donation will fuel our mission to spread life-saving oral-systemic education and preventative care.

Contributions will support:

• Providing free or low-cost memberships to professionals working with vulnerable communities.
• Offering scholarships for AAOSH event attendance to those working with vulnerable communities.
• Help fund and establish collegiate AAOSH chapters for medical/dental schools that serve vulnerable populations (including Historically Black Colleges and Universities, state-funded schools, low-income trade schools, certificate programs, etc.).

From webinars and day-long virtual sessions to 250 hours of on-demand learning, AAOSH delivers world-class education. We believe that creating a connected community of health professionals starts with accessibility and support.
