Course Description:

Is the standard of care that we learned in school enough? How can we better educate patients on the value of advanced treatment? There is more to dentistry than cleaning teeth and filling cavities.  Even the general public knows the mouth is connected to the rest of the body.  Is the standard of care we learned in school enough? Staying current with the latest innovations can be challenging for healthcare providers, who must prioritize the quality of care they provide to their patients and their well-being. In this course, participants will assess new technologies to enhance clinical care and optimize outcomes.  They will learn how to explain the advantages of these innovations to patients and team members, resulting in greater buy-in and implementation in practice.
