Course Description:
This session focuses on establishing a health-centered team within the dental practice. Dentists seeking to prioritize health and support patients in achieving optimal well-being will benefit from this course. The session provides a systematic approach to building an intentional health-centered team. Participants will learn strategies to clarify their vision of health and assist patients in understanding what optimal health means for them. The course emphasizes creating individualized plans to guide patients toward optimal health, fostering an inspired and patient-focused team.

Speaker Bio:
Kevin Kwiecien, DMD, graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in 1995 and holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration. With over 25 years of private practice experience, he previously held multiple academic roles at Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry. Dr. Kwiecien was an assistant professor and directed various programs, including the university’s faculty dental practice and urgent care clinic. He joined Spear Education as a faculty member, overseeing digital clinical content and teaching workshops. Dr. Kwiecien is an experienced lecturer on comprehensive digital dentistry, occlusion, dental sleep medicine, and practice management. He is dedicated to continuing education, having completed programs at the L.D. Pankey Institute and holding memberships in multiple professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kwiecien is an adjunct faculty member at the Western University of Health Sciences and directs the practice management curriculum while operating K Squared Facilitation and Dental Education, emphasizing long-term health for practices, teams, and patients.
