Dr. Gus Vickery, MD, is a board-certified family physician, author, and founder of Authentic Health in Asheville, North Carolina. A passionate advocate for personalized, holistic medicine, Dr. Vickery is known for helping patients uncover the root causes of illness and empowering them to take control of their health through evidence-based, lifestyle-centered care. Since founding his practice in 2005, he has integrated principles of behavioral science, brain health, nutrition, movement, and sleep into his clinical approach. Dr. Vickery also teaches medical students and residents from UNC-Chapel Hill and East Carolina University and remains committed to advancing healthcare access and innovation through initiatives like Synergy Health Solutions.
