Course Description:

For decades, the paradigm of periodontal disease has focused primarily on the bacterial biofilm. However, modern research reveals that bacteria only tell part of the story. To truly understand refractory disease and the systemic oral-body connection, clinicians must look closer at the viral and fungal axis.

This advanced presentation bridges the gap between traditional periodontics, virology, mycology, and systemic medicine.
