With over 15 years of experience in the for-profit and non-profit healthcare spaces, AAOSH's Executive Director, Jenelle M. Pierce, MBA, CSE, is highly skilled at managing people, programs, and processes, bringing a mixture of direct service provision and strategic management expertise coupled with imagination, energy, and a warm spirit.

Jenelle holds a BBA in Honors Professional Accountancy and an MBA in Business Management, with honors, from Davenport University. The first graduate of Davenport University to receive an offer from a Big 4 accounting firm, she accepted a position with Deloitte, serving both for-profit and non-profit healthcare clients.

Her subsequent roles as a Project Manager for Stryker Corporation, an Adjunct Professor for Grand Rapids Community College, the Education Manager for HealthHIV, and the Executive Director of The STI Project have focused on leading people and organizations through the development and programming of innovative approaches toward prevention, education, and comprehensive healthcare solutions.

Jenelle’s experience building collaborative relationships across organizational stakeholders, from government officials, public and private funders, and academics to members of the media and the general public, goes beyond traditional medical education, winning numerous awards, garnering millions of views across marketing channels, and has been featured in outlets such as The Washington Post, CNN, Cosmo, Forbes, Prevention, NPR, CNN, Women's Health, Rolling Stone, Refinery 29, VICE, Salon, and many more.

When she's not working diligently to be the change she wishes to see, Jenelle spends time with her husband, daughter, two very good dogs, and a cat.
