Course Description:

Whether you’re new to the oral-systemic connection or have been practicing it for decades, we can all agree that having patients fully realize the importance of optimal oral health care and move forward with recommended treatment can be difficult. Doctors and teams are constantly met with objections about cost, pain, and time by the patient. Imagine having a clear-cut plan for your team to introduce oral systemic health to patients in a way that the patient understands and is excited about. Imagine never ‘selling’ dentistry but instead having your patients ask YOU for the solution.

Learning Objectives:

  • Demonstrate and identify ways to fully enroll your team in oral-systemic health.
  • Create a healthy mouth baseline for your team and patients.
  • Create a plan for effortless communication of the oral-systemic link by all team members.
  • Create a system so that patients self-diagnose their ailments.
  • Distinguish ways to eliminate the “it doesn’t hurt, so I don’t need it” mentality.
  • Create a plan for ways to increase case acceptance.
