SESSION FORMAT:

Presented virtually via Zoom, our typical agenda starts off with a program kick-off and an overview of the day’s events and our speakers. Throughout the day, you will hear from practitioners who will share their research, best practices, and strategies in the field of oral and systemic health. We will uncover what strategies you can adopt to succeed as an oral and systemic practice. We’ll also dive deeper into the data building blocks used in performance analysis and decision-making. The agenda will focus heavily on identifying growth opportunities and uncovering insights into building strong patient relationships. This virtual event will also offer attendees opportunities to network with similar organizations and individuals leading the charge in oral and systemic health.

Dr. Katharine Christian is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Originally from the central coast of California, Dr Christian went to Tufts for dental school. She practiced general dentistry for 9 years before limiting her practice in 2014 and is currently the Dental Director of the Sleep & TMJ Group in Seattle, Washington. Dr Christian has been treating OSA with oral appliances since 2006.

Dr Christian is currently the President-Elect for the Seattle King County Dental Society and is active in her specialty organizations.

Dr. Camille Zenobia is a highly experienced and accomplished oral health professional with a passion for advancing dental education and improving oral care outcomes. With 14 years of research in oral health and has become a trusted authority in oral health

Dr. Zenobia’s journey in oral health began in academia with Drs. Richard Darveau and George Hajishengallis with focus on host-pathogen interactions, Porphyromonas gingivalis pathology, and innate pathways of inflammation. Next, she went on to work in industry with Colgate Palmolive to drive oral health innovations for the consumer. This extensive oral health background equipped her with a deep understanding of the intricacies of oral biology and a strong foundation in inflammation, immunology, microbial dysbiosis, clinical research, and oral care product interventions.

Throughout her career, Dr. Zenobia is an editor for both Frontiers and Nature Oral Health journal sections and continues to author scientific articles with prominent oral health professionals. As a passionate advocate for oral health education, Dr. Zenobia also leads a podcast called “Let’s Get Oral” to drive interest and engagement into the field of oral biology, demonstrating a genuine commitment to driving education and awareness to all categories of oral health.

Dr. Kami Hoss is an orthodontist, dentofacial orthopedist, author, and entrepreneur who is on a mission to reinvent America’s oral healthcare paradigm. He has advanced the business of dentistry as co-founder and CEO of The Super Dentists in California, which, over the last twenty-five years, has become one of the leading multispecialty dental practices in the country.

Dr. Hoss’s passion for education led him to found Howard Healthcare Academy, where he is CEO of the nationally accredited dental assisting school that trains students using an unprecedented hands-on method.

More recently, Dr. Hoss has launched SuperMouth, a line of revolutionary oral care products with custom tools and solutions for every age and stage of development.

He is also the bestselling author of If Your Mouth Could Talk, an enlightening guide to oral health and its impact on pregnancy, sleep, systemic disease, and even emotional well-being, that gives people the knowledge and tools to dramatically improve their lives.

Dr. Hoss is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Forbes Business Council, and Newsweek Expert Forum. He sits on the Board of Counselors at UCLA School of Dentistry and is a highly sought-after expert who has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and NPR affiliates, as well as in hundreds of newspapers, magazines, and other publications nationally.

Dr. Jen Crowe is a board-certified orthodontist and a lifelong educator. She has a special interest in airway and craniofacial development and is focused on raising awareness regarding the important role orthodontics has on overall wellness.
Dr. Crowe has been in private practice since 2008 in Portland, Oregon. She obtained her dental degree at UCLA and her certificate and master’s degree in orthodontics at OHSU. She is a board-certified Angle orthodontist and taught orthodontics at OHSU for 12 years. She is trained in oromyofunctional therapy and respiratory physical therapy and recently became a board-certified naturopathic medical doctor.

Education is Dr Crowe’s passion because she believes deeply that dental health isn’t just about teeth. She dedicates her time to educating practicing dentists, non-dental medical providers, and her own patient families with a whole-body approach to health and wellness.
