About the speaker:

Machell Hoover, RDH, CHC, is a passionate dental hygienist, the Founder and CEO of Integrative Dental Coaching and a nationally recognized speaker, educator, and consultant specializing in oral-systemic health, comprehensive care, and whole-body wellness integration. With more than two decades in dentistry, she is passionate about helping dental teams elevate patient care through risk assessment, co-diagnosis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered communication.

Machell is a Subject Matter Expert for Spear Education and co-creator of the Hygiene Mastery Series, the most viewed program on Spear Virtual Learning following its March 2026 launch. She also serves as a hygiene educator for 3D Dentists, an advisory board member for DentistryIQ, and guest faculty for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

In addition to her dental background, Machell is a Certified Health Coach with specialty certifications in menopause and lifestyle-as-medicine coaching, bringing a distinctive whole-health perspective to her work. She is also the co-author of A Patient’s Guide to Oral Systemic Connections, a patient education resource used by practices nationwide, and a contributor to industry publications focused on oral-systemic health, prevention, and comprehensive patient care.

Machell brings both credibility and conviction to her work, believing that elevating patient care is possible, that what dental professionals do matters, and that the people who make up dentistry have the power to change lives.
