Violet Crabb is the Executive Director at the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH) and brings over 20 years of comprehensive experience in healthcare information technology and education marketing. A strategic marketing leader and former business owner, Violet has established herself in B2B and B2C arenas, driving significant business growth through innovative content strategies, expert campaign management, and rigorous KPI and ROI-focused initiatives, especially within Healthcare SaaS startups. Her skill set includes graphic design, photography, B2B content creation, and grant writing, with a specialized focus on value-based care and population health management. Violet has also led high-impact paid campaigns across various channels and is adept at optimizing marketing strategies and budgets to enhance brand visibility and market share.
Violet’s extensive academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lincoln Memorial University and a Master of Science Certification in Digital Marketing Strategy & Leadership. Additionally, she has earned certifications in Leadership and Management from Johns Hopkins University, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce from Google, and Value-Based Care from the University of Houston. She is also a licensed teacher in Tennessee, qualified to teach Grades 4-8 with endorsements across U.S. History, English Language Arts, Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Principles of Teaching and Leadership.
Growing up in the rural heart of Appalachia as the first in her family to attend college, Violet has a unique perspective shaped by limited access to healthcare in underserved areas. Her early life experiences have fueled her passion for advocating for communities facing healthcare access challenges. She taught her mother and grandmother to read and write, exemplifying her lifelong commitment to education and community empowerment. A recipient of the Mary Mildred Sullivan Award for Humanitarianism, Violet’s dedication to enhancing educational and healthcare opportunities is deeply woven into her professional and personal endeavors.
In her spare time, Violet volunteers on the Judging Team for National FFA Organization awards and collaborates with local educational groups to develop leadership and mentorship programs in underserved schools. Outside of her professional and volunteer roles, she enjoys performing in local cover bands with her husband, Alex, and caring for their two dogs, Sadie and Lillie Grace.
