Violet Crabb is the Executive Director of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH) and brings more than 20 years of experience spanning healthcare information technology, education marketing, association leadership, and event strategy. A strategic and forward-thinking executive, Violet is widely recognized for her ability to grow mission-driven organizations through innovative programming, high-value partnerships, and data-driven decision-making.
In her current role, Violet leads the planning and execution of national and regional educational conferences, trade shows, and year-long engagement initiatives. She is a sought-after speaker and consultant on exhibiting partner and sponsor relationships, frequently advising associations on how to design programming that thoughtfully integrates best-in-class products and services while delivering measurable value to members, partners, and stakeholders. Her expertise lies at the intersection of education, revenue strategy, and relationship-centered growth.
Violet’s professional background includes extensive experience in B2B and B2C marketing, particularly within healthcare SaaS and education-focused organizations. A former business owner, she has driven significant growth through content strategy, campaign management, and KPI- and ROI-focused initiatives. Her skill set includes graphic design, photography, grant writing, and multi-channel digital marketing, with a specialized focus on value-based care and population health management.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in History and Public History from Lincoln Memorial University, as well as a Master of Science Certificate in Digital Marketing Strategy & Leadership. Violet has earned additional professional certifications in Leadership and Management from Johns Hopkins University, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce from Google, and Value-Based Care from the University of Houston. She has also completed master’s-level certificates in Hospitality and Tourism Foundations and Advanced Contracting and RFP Development from the NYU Center of Hospitality and is currently enrolled in coursework toward the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential.
A licensed educator in the state of Tennessee, Violet is qualified to teach grades 4–8 with endorsements in U.S. History, English Language Arts, Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Principles of Teaching and Leadership. She is also a certified Adult Educator and Trainer and has created the course library for the AAOSH Core Curriculum, as well as professional education programs in Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, CAN-SPAM regulations, and marketing leadership.
Raised in the rural heart of Appalachia as the first in her family to attend college, Violet’s work is deeply informed by firsthand experience with healthcare access challenges in underserved communities. Her early commitment to education—teaching her mother and grandmother to read and write—continues to shape her advocacy for equity, access, and lifelong learning. A recipient of the Mary Mildred Sullivan Award for Humanitarianism, Violet’s dedication to service is woven throughout her professional and personal life.
Outside of work, Violet volunteers in support of veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and local community initiatives. She enjoys performing music with her husband, Alex, and spending time with their two dogs, Sadie and Lillie.
