Case Study Announcement and Invitation for AAOSH 2017

We would like to acknowledge all of our attendees and members for being healthcare leaders dedicated to learning and increasing awareness of the relationship between oral health and whole body health.

An important part of the AAOSH mission is to improve inter-disciplinary health care and collaboration that supports optimum health. We recognize that many of our members have excelled with this and have been continually learning and applying a very successful inter-disciplinary approach with their patients every day.

We are excited to announce that we have created an opportunity during the 7th Annual AAOSH Scientific Session in Salt Lake City for our AAOSH members to share some of their successful cases as an exemplary model of this approach. While case studies are a valuable way to learn, they obviously won’t provide specific guidelines for patient management. However, our goal is to have numerous clinicians, both hygienists and doctors, provide a variety of valuable teaching material and approaches that have been applied and documented. The case studies will include facts, statistics, and a modest description of what actually happened.

We are inviting members to submit cases that they would like to share and present at the 2017 AAOSH Annual Meeting. If you would like to submit a case please fill out the form below for more information.

The deadline for submission will be April 30, 2017. You may send the completed case report and all documentation to Bobbie Delsasso. The AAOSH Board will be responsible for determining the final case selection by June 30, 2017.
