Bale Doneen - Vascular Inflammation: The Oral Systemic Link

Periodontal disease (PD) is independently associated with Cardiovascular disease (CVD). It is imperative that efforts to enhance cardiovascular wellness incorporate periodontal evaluations and therapies. This course will recognize the need for the medical community to value the dental role in managing the modifiable disease state of PD as it relates to systemic vascular disease. There is urgency for medicine and dentistry to join together to improve the lives of patients by reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with vascular disease.

This unique course will elucidate the science that binds the oral/systemic connection. As a participant, you will receive necessary tools to build bridges in your communities that bind medicine and dentistry together and bring CVD prevention to the dental chair.

Brad Bale, MD and Amy Doneen, MSN, ARNP are co-founders of the Bale/Doneen Method for the prevention of heart attack, stroke and diabetes. Thomas Nabors, D.D.S. is an authority in molecular analysis and genetic risk assessment for periodontal diseases.

Nabors, Bale and Doneen created this course to deliver the most current science and provide the clinical backdrop necessary to provide optimal CV wellness by building bridges between medicine and dentistry.
