Course Description:

Join Dr. Thomas Seyfried, a prominent figure at Boston College, as he unveils groundbreaking insights challenging conventional cancer treatment paradigms. Discover how cancer can be fundamentally perceived as a single disease with a common underlying mechanism involving mitochondrial dysfunction. Gain empowering knowledge to address the root causes of cancer, aiming for healthier treatment and prevention approaches free from chemicals, drugs, and side effects. Dr. Seyfried advocates a whole-body approach to managing cancer cell growth and progression, offering a revolutionary perspective in conquering cancer without conventional pharmaceutical interventions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize and differentiate the primary view of cancer as a mitochondrial metabolic disease rather than solely a genetic ailment, elucidating the significance of this paradigm shift in cancer treatment approaches.
  • Identify the core nature of cancer as a disease rooted in defective respiration with compensatory fermentation, transcending cellular and genetic variations, altering perceptions of the fundamental nature of cancer.
  • Understand the role of Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy (KMT) as a cost-effective, non-toxic therapeutic approach specifically targeting and eradicating tumor cells while preserving and enhancing the energy efficiency of normal cells, offering potential implications for cancer treatment.

Speaker Bio:
