Course Description:

With Springtime on the horizon, many of your patients will be battling with seasonal allergies and increasing asthma attacks. Patients with recurrent allergic responses are often at more risk for tooth decay.  In this webinar, we will learn about salivary chemistry, the impact of allergies and asthma on saliva, and novel ways to prevent tooth decay. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the impact and current treatment recommendations for seasonal allergies and asthma.
  • Compare and contrast how disease processes and subsequent treatments can impact oral health markers.
  • Discuss how changing patient behaviors or using innovative products can improve oral health in patients with seasonal allergies and allergic rhinitis.
