Strategies to both enhance mental performance and counteract the progression of cognitive decline will be explored and applied. The course navigates through the stages of memory loss and examines eleven factors associated with cognitive decline, including sources of brain toxins. Through analyzing case studies and relevant literature, participants will explore the intricate relationship between periodontal disease and cognitive decline. Additionally, the course delves into determining lifestyle factors predictive of cognitive function. The culmination involves recalling and listing six strategies to improve patients' cognitive performance, function, and longevity.
