Course Description:

This course highlights the overlooked relationship between nasal health and overall well-being. While dental professionals typically focus on nasal issues only when patients complain, this course highlights the crucial role of nasal airway function in fundamental physiological processes. Inadequate nasal airway utilization contributes to various oral health challenges, disrupted sleep, reduced pain tolerance, and heightened awareness of health issues. Understanding and addressing nasal health can effectively resolve persistent or refractory problems, leading to more stable patient health. This course empowers dentists to integrate nasal airway awareness into their practice, enhancing their service offerings and benefiting patient care.

Learning Objectives:

  • Establish a clear understanding of how nasal airway health influences oral and overall body health.
  • Develop a strategic plan to incorporate nasal airway services into dental practice effectively.
  • Access valuable resources for further exploration of nasal airway health.
