Speaker Bio:

Ron Hruska is a highly accomplished professional in the field of physical therapy, renowned for his groundbreaking contributions to postural adaptation patterns and neuromechanical stability. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He later pursued a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he graduated in 1980. Following his education, Ron embarked on a distinguished career, commencing as a staff Physical Therapist at the Omaha Veterans Administration Medical Center, where he eventually rose to the role of Assistant Chief and Clinical Educator by 1983. During this period, he earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Ron's journey continued with a position as Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at St. Elizabeth Community Health Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he served until 1997. In 1997, he joined Inverse Technology Corporation as Director of Clinical Services, concurrently teaching courses nationwide on "Patella-Femoral Dysfunction and Photonics" and pioneering Postural Restoration® courses. In 1999, he established Hruska Clinic Restorative Physical Therapy Services, a private practice clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska. His vast clinical experience culminated in founding the Postural Restoration Institute® in 2000, which delves into the science of postural adaptations and the influence of polyarticular muscle chains. 2011 Ron co-founded PRI Vision, LLC in Lincoln, NE, with Dr. Heidi Wise. His interests span myokinematic, biomechanical, occlusal, and visual influences on postural and peripheral adaptation patterns, making him a sought-after lecturer and consultant for healthcare professionals globally. Throughout his career, Ron has actively participated in the American Physical Therapy Association, holding various roles and serving as President of the Nebraska Chapter. He has also contributed to the field through inventions and patents, such as the Protonics Neuromuscular Training System, Prism, and Priori PRI Aquatic systems. Ron's expertise and interdisciplinary approach have attracted patients and healthcare professionals worldwide to the Hruska Clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska. His dedication to education persists, with Ron continuing to teach numerous courses each year through the Postural Restoration Institute®, along with providing consultancy services in various clinical settings. Additionally, he serves as a Biomechanical Consultant to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln through the Division of Athletic Medicine, further solidifying his impact in the field.
